Fellowships
The Trust offers two opportunities for continuing study and career development, the Arkell Fellowship and through Stepping Stones theatre company. Vocational opportunities are also available through our Careership scheme.
Stepping Stones
Through our partnership with Derby University, new graduates are given the opportunity to gain experience of running their own theatre-in-education company. Stepping Stones Theatre-in-Education is an innovative project that utilises the expertise of both the National Trust and the Theatre Studies department at the University, to offer a unique opportunity to those embarking on a career in theatre or drama education. In 2002 Stepping Stones will be touring National Trust countryside properties with Whose Land is it Anyway?, an interactive piece of theatre-in-education addressing countryside and environment issues for Key stage 2 & 3 pupils.
