Fellowships
The Trust offers opportunities for continuing study and career development through the Arkell Fellowship. Vocational opportunities are also available through our Careership scheme.
The Arkell Fellowship
Each year, young people aged between 18-35 are invited to apply for a research fellowship to study a subject of "significance to conservation, heritage or tourist management in Europe".
The themes chosen for 2002 reflected areas of work that the Trust is investigating, so that the research could inform and guide approaches and good practice. The Fellowship involves a period of study of between 2-4 weeks in the UK and continental Europe, a report of findings and presentation to an invited audience. You can read the reports of the 2001 fellows here.
